I was just looking up marbles on google.com, I shouldn't be surprised that there are marbles web pages, newsgroups and chat rooms, that there are marbles collectors clubs, that there are books devoted to marble collecting, and that special marbles are available on eBay. I shouldn't be surprised, I say, but I am, nevertheless. Don't suppose there are similar things devoted to jacks? Only one way to find out . . . .
We used to play boardgames, too, Monopoly, checkers, I remember when Risk came out.
And then in college, we played Jeopardy and Trivial Pursuit. |
