If you get to be the judge, why aren't you as strict with pop culture figures, say, as you are with political ones? After all, your standard is positive influence. It can be -- and certainly has been -- argued that much or most of Anglo-American pop culture has had a deleterious influence. (I certainly know I spent much of my teenagehood fleeing the ubiquitous mooing of Frank Sinatra & his fellow crooners. Made me want to puke! <g>)
