(Good, stirring up something here.) I really don't have a lot of backup for those comments, except for remarks on this thread in the last couple of months (especially by Valueman, whose opinion I trust and who has become quite the LOR bear), and a look at Loral's web site--which leaves me with the distinct impression that there is no well-thought out positioning for C*. I hope someone can dissuade me on this.

And, no, by the way, I do not assume that current bookings are low. The statement has been made--again, on this thread--that early bookings were pretty cheap (sorry, no link. It is my memory here). At the time I ran through what numbers I could, and the statement rang true.

Is the FSS sector enough for LOR to earn a profit? My impression is that it is the thinnest-margin LOR segment. I could be mixing up things. I'm not looking at my notes.

I think I've just laid out my weekend's work. :o(
