Craig and Susan, This is just my opinion but I believe there are a number of investors that review investments at the end of the year and decide which ones to sell, buy, hold, etc. One reason is because traders can have big swings in a few months so they wait until Oct-Nov to review annual gains/losses and make changes to portfolio as necessary. Incidently, you don't have to be rich to have gains and you don't have to be rich to take advantage of current tax laws regarding losses. I currently own VUSA and would love to see it move up but feel there is a possibility of increased selling in the next month or so. Either way, good luck to you both.
