Eric,
Jeez, Phil, you sound a little overwrought. You also seem to have this unpleasant Hank-like tendency to call everyone who disagrees with you a shill.
Overwrought?
As if you didn't sound that way.
About the only time I get testy is when people attempt to twist my posts and try to make it sound like I said something I did not say.
Like misstating "believe" for "is".
Have you tried Zicam? How can you call it a "fad" if you haven't? What health condition did the Pet Rock treat?
Did I state that I thought a rock would offer a treatment to any illness?
No. I stated that I believed both to be fads. I still believe it. Only time will tell.
And,
It just astounds me that you guys can be so reckless.
I only initiated a small % short position because of the recent news release about the publishing of the study, and subsequent debacle.
I don't consider that "reckless".
I really expected more of a fall. I underestimated the holding power of the longs. At the present time, I am only down a couple of points. As I stated previously, if it begins to move away, I will box to protect my borrow until I feel the time is right to sell the long shares and attempt to short more.
Again, time will tell.
Of course, if you're only talking about your continuing to maintain that opinion, even if Zicam proves to be a staple like, say, Advil, I support your right to do so.
If that happens, I will buy to unbox my short, and join you as a long. I won't be joining you as a cheerleader, however. I seldom find a need to post on the threads of the companies I am long.
Have fun, Phil
