Tench,
I hate to be the one to criticize AMD today, but from the article:

"AMD, in the second half of 2000, will turn the key on
Mustang, the code name for an even higher performing
Athlon chip. Mustang will support a 266MHz system bus
and up to 2MB of on-board cache. The chip also will be
AMD's first 0.18-micron processor to utilize copper
interconnects..."

Doesn't this statement imply that Dresden (cu only?) isn't contributing to revenues until 2nd half '00. Granted, it could be a ZDnet freudian slip, but I was under the impression Dresden would become a major contributor in the 2nd Q. Perhaps this conservative guidance is designed to make them look good when they mount up the mustang in q2. Any ideas?
