ok. let's break down the numbers, kids.....

they made 17.7, increase in other income over last qtr was .4, therefore 17.7 was actually 17.3 or .17 not .18

now, revs were up 10.5 % seq while receivables were up 16.6%.i.e one grew 642mm the other 403mm(natch dso's went up a bunch). SO almost the whole increase in revenues went into receivables. anybody smell stuffing????? so let's knock off 1-2 cents and we're at 15.3/16.3 vs a prior est of 20-21; 19 last qtr and 14 last yr.

Those are the numbers.... now, the liar, err... i mean Mickey said backlog was about the same (ie- LOWER and this going into their strongest qtr) SO what do the puzzle pieces tell you about the stretching and engineering that went on this qtr????? Maybe some early recognition; ie- pullins???? mmmmmm????

they guided lower for rev growth next qtr form the 15% historical number and the 10-11% prior guidance to 7-8% (and this is likely rather optimistic.. ala- "Taiwan will cause no problems for DELL". They also permanently guided down net margins form 8+ish% to 7.6+ish%.

So basically the number was weak and huge miss. They guided lower for revenue growth plus margins therefore all numbers prospectively will have to be cut.

If the bulls think this is "good" i'd hate to see "ugly." Anybody buying this stock in the morning or this evening afterhours thinking this was a great qtr is either galactically stupid or just a complete fool.

The prosecution rests....
