Yeah, maybe with the i840 chipset. You can't compare AMD's benchmarks on their site to Intel's on their site. Too many chances for descrepancy. You of all people would want a back to back comparison, but since you can say PIII 700 is faster in a few benchmarks, you are showing what you WANT to. Check out Anand's and Tom's BACK to BACK benchmarks. Then try to tell us PIII 700 outperforms Athlon 700 overall.

PIII 650 costs $125! more than Athlon 650.
