So Mike what do you think of GEAC here and today's news release.

Well I liked it but the street doesn't. I guess they don't like the fact that JBA's sales slowed down and Bergeron said..they will experience a Y2K slump until March, after which growth is pegged at 30 percent. So if you are a long term player the street should warm up to them in the near future. We could also be facing some tax selling pressure right about now but that's just a guess.

Lets see they plan to make 65 to 70 cents. Considering the Y2K is almost done and Geac seems to be the only company making a nice profit and PSFT,S&P are sucking sea water I really like them.

Any idea what the consolidated run rate is going to be and whether GEAC is planning to list on american exchange any time soon ?

No Idea on run rate or listing. I always wondered why they haven't listed in the US. I haven't listened to the conference call but they might address your run rate question. When I get time I'm going to listen to it.

A telephone conference call hosted by Doug Bergeron, President and Chief Executive Officer and John Lanaway, Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President will be held to discuss the Company's plans for the integration of the JBA acquisition and the financial impact of the transaction:

The telephone number to listen to the call after it is completed (Instant Replay) is (416) 695-5800 or toll free at (800) 408-3053. The Passcode for the Instant Replay is 348970. The Instant Replay will be available until midnight, November 17, 1999.
