About the only time I get testy is when people attempt to twist my posts and try to make it sound like I said something I did not say.

Like misstating "believe" for "is".

You infer an intent that was not there. I don't twist posts.

If your posts are truly that precisely constructed, you must be quite a wordsmith. I am certain that most people on SI do not parse posts that carefully, especially on a thread like the GUMM ones where strong and often unsupported opinions are presented as fact.

Oh, well. Whatever.
