Bill, I couldn't agree more with your comments with respect to Larry and his attitude. Saying that the company has "squandered $170 million of other people's money" really takes the cake. I guess it means those Valence scientists and engineers spent their days in the Vegas casinos blowing all that money on the roulette tables instead of researching, developing, and improving the li-polymer technology and engineering/redesigning assembly equipment and developing a huge manufacturing plant, like we've been led to believe.

And, he says, the company has a "multi-year history of wasting money and repeated failure" - obviously Larry has inside information the rest of us don't have as he seems to know that they've "wasted money" and that they've repeatedly failed. Wish he'd enlighten us on the specifics of those issues (and yes, we do know about the one failure involving Motorola).

Since Valence has squandered and wasted their money, I would sure like to know how much T&B, Sony, Hydro Quebec, and others have spent on their li-polymer research so far. Obviously not much, if Valence wasted $170 million and still came up with a real battery that works, unlike those others! But then, when you're on the outside it's so easy to throw rocks!

Changing subject to the CC, I was absolutely livid when the audio disappeared 10 minutes into the call, never to return. It about ruined my day. Imagine my joy when I got home in the evening and found that they made it available for replay this time! Thank you Lev Dawson!! Without the net congestion, it came through just fine, and I've got it on tape again.

I was really pleased with Lev's explanations on the subject of safety in terms of manganese oxide vis a vis cobalt oxide, and the apparent huge market advantage the Valence version will enjoy. Also interesting was his comment that gen 2 film was being produced while he spoke. Sounds like he may be getting ready to offer it to customers, with its potentially higher margins and all.

I was left with just one question: Will my december options
bring me any returns? Anybody have an opinion?

Regards,

- T -
