Intel has a market cap of about 65 times AMD. So even if 5% of AMD's shares are shorted by INTC share holder (I am sure the actual number is much less than this) that would be less than 1% of Intel's market cap and waaay less than a avarage daily volume for INTC. So it will have near zero effect. On the other hand, if 0.25% (1 out of every 400) of INTC longs want to change their position into AMD, look out! :) Mani
