BTW how are things in TVM these days? I was there only for ten days and still had to go through one hartal following a clash between striking KSU students and SFI students, which only strengthens my wish that the capital would get shifted to Cochin. <bg> Yes, Satyam Infoway launched on the 10th in Trivandrum. My brother opted out at the last moment because he will be going back to Bombay for his job pretty soon. When I talked to the SIFY rep he told me that they will have 90 lines in Trivandrum and will only give 900 connections. The guy hadn't even heard about DSL and when I explained what it is, pointed out that the total external bandwidth available for the country is only 2 Mbps.
