I started with the number you saw, invested in gorillas, sold some stuff at a loss (broker recommendations before I dumped her & him)... Started with $ 24,000 US. June 1997
The stuff is worth , as of 2 days ago, about $ 300,000 or so...
Not bad for 2 years....
I use LEAPS and a lot of stock, with LT B&H....
It really works...
As for QCOM, I love it...
I have 1 2002 160 QCOM LEAP, bought for $ 5750 this summer.
I bought, last week, a 2002 280 LEAP, bought for 10,750...
When they split, I will control 800 shares (8x LEAPS) of QCOM.
I am keeping my EMC, CSCO, SUNW, QCOM, AOL, GE & JNJ, probably my INTC & MSFT & DELL...
