Sam -- I would be surprised if Fujitsu had talked with SEG about purchasing the company. To me, it doesn't seem like a good fit. (I would enjoy hearing Stitch's take though.) I would not be surprised if SEG and Fujitsu had maybe had talks about SEG buying Fujitsu's drive operations. I could also see IBM being interested in SEG for the VRTS stock. VRTS seems like it would be an extremely good fit for IBM.

Of course, IBM could just simply talk to VRTS directly. It is easier for me to picture SEG as being the acquirer rather than the acquiree. The VRTS, SNDK, ZOOX and DRGN stock portfolio do make this an interesting time for SEG shareholders and management though. I would still like to see some profitability though in the drive operations. Sustained and predictable profitability, that is...
