IDS launches first ever e-commerce venture for the international mining and exploration industry

WHAT: Launch of Geo-Portal, the first online e-commerce centre designed for the $300 billion international exploration and mining industry. Through two portals: GeophysicsOnline.com and MineOnline.com, mining, exploration and geophysics professionals will have access to the products and services of 2,500 companies worldwide, over $500 million in data assets and more than 2.5 million products. The portals will also feature full-service, business-to-business capabilities, specifically designed to meet the trading needs of the industry.
