InterTrust and Creative Announce Digital Rights Management Development And Licensing Agreement

Digital Rights Management Technology to be Included in NOMAD II Portable Digital Audio Player

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- InterTrust Technologies Corporation (Nasdaq: ITRU - news), the MetaTrust Utility(TM), and Creative Technology Ltd. (Nasdaq: CREAF - news), the leading provider of multimedia solutions for personal entertainment, today announced both companies have entered into a technology development and licensing agreement. The agreement supports Creative's development of digital rights management (DRM) enabled products using InterTrust© technology, commencing with the NOMAD II portable digital audio player, and helps to address compliance with Secure Digital Music Initiative (SDMI) requirements for portable digital audio players.
