John, thank you, this is the most useful piece of literature for a prospective SGI customer i have ever seen. can i post this to the ALIAS-L list? the only thing not factored in is that SGI is offering very very liberal discounts on the I2's and not on the O2's or Octanes. that's where i was making my mistake. i think more real world comparisons like this would set a lot of things straight. i agree about the 0200's, it's just that one can't get a ship date. perhaps someone should put me under non-disclosure. again thanks, vincent
