Gary - One of the companies is Lucent. IMO, Lucent will greatly benefit from Open IP. Lucent will develop applications for its product by using Open IP. Lucent will encourage other vendors to develop applications for Lucent products. Lucent saves a lot of money on R&D. If Open IP was not worthwhile, Lucent would not pay to license it.
