If you are wanting instant confirmation of trades, instant confirmations of cancels, etc. I wouldn't recommend webstreet. I have been with 4 brokers now (Etrade, DAtek, Webstreet, Cybercorp). Cybercorp is the best one I have dealt with. It's amazing how much more money you can make when you don't have to worry about a trade going through or a market maker taking order flow from trades, as Etrade, Datek, and Webstreet all do. Cybercorp doesn't, and is specifically for day traders.
Datek does a pretty good job until half your island order gets routed to a MM, then they really burn you bad, as I found out yesterday..Dateks execution is pretty fast, better than say Etrade and Webstreet, but not as fast as Cybercorp's. |
