Dorine,
Hi!!
RE: Thank you for your encouragement. I must admit, I was dissapointed this am but after reading your posts I am feeling better.

The deception mongers are out in force....Let's take the two that strike me immediately....Bear Stearns and Paine Weber...Wasn't it PW that downgraded DELL after the first qt. and that same day someone on this thread tracked their BUYING the stock the entire day all the way down? Interesting isn't it?
What I really would be interested in is what some on this thread feel DELL would have earned had all cyclinders been firing...Drew's assessment last night was awesome...And, TigerPaw made it very clear that DELL had both hands tied and they feet shackled this quarter...Yet, their model once again proved to the world how powerful it is even in crisis...The ROIC is something that is beyond imagination for me...Drew is a VP of finance at one of the most prestigious hospitals in the world and continues to be in amazement of what DELL can do financially...We talk frequently and his enthusiasm ( with concerns to their efficiency) never ceases to be his focal point of why DELL is the greatest company today...Dorine, IMO DELL has had three blowout quarters in a row...Qt.4 and qt. 1 I believe were designed to destroy CPQ...I've written this numerous times and the more I hear of CPQ's woes the more convinced I am that DELL did the job and then some...This last qt. I believe was a blowout with the numbers until the earthquake....others have attempted to explain why...but, honestly...DELL's real strength was shown through all these land mines...
Looking forward...a simple phrase yesterday made during the conference call should have this stock @50 if the very same brokerage houses that previously "cautioned" everyone :o) with the same concern: MARGINS....and what did the conference call address with regards to MARGINS??? What a game....Obviously, the credibility of some investment houses doesn't exist...

DELL says MARGINS ARE GOING UP....
BUY DELL

Best, Kemble.
