COMPAQ, the noble deer, weary and worn, chased by an iPaq of baying hounds, turns to face its tormentors. Sensing COMPAQ's weakness, Kumar, the lone hyena, giggling like a crazed child, leaps for COMPAQ's throat. Under the ferocity of the onslaught, COMPAQ's front legs buckle and its head bows by at least 6/8ths. But COMPAQ does not fall. Even as Kumar's yellow fangs sink into his neck, COMPAQ manages a mighty swing of his head and tosses Kumar over his shoulder. Bloody, but not bowed, his front legs gradually straightening, COMPAQ imposes his noble presence on the iPaq of hounds and dares them. Excited and stirred by Kumar's sudden attack the iPaq are now subdued. Yelping, confused, turning on each other - it is the moment of decision. Will COMPAQ escape: will the iPaq turn on its tail? Is Kumar the hyena mortally wounded or has he gone to get help? |
