Given that Fed policy depends strongly on the existing Chariman, such extrapolation is meaningless. AG has raised rates and drained liquidity in election years in the past. There is absolutely no proof that he is not a politically independent person. I think that you are being completely unfair, given his track record. He may or may not have a good track record depending on your political and economic stance, but that is a different issue.
