I wonder what Osha means by this. If he means performance, that would be a load of BS because no one said anything about how well Itanium/IA-64 will perform at its release. Even Intel hasn't released any performance figures, so does Osha know more than Intel?

If he means volumes, then I wonder what kind of inflated expectations he's trying to deflate. What, did people think that IA-64 is all-of-a-sudden going to reach the volumes of Pentium III? If so, I sure didn't see that priced into INTC stock.

Or if he's just squawking like Tommy Quack-Quack used to, well then we have a nice short-term buying opportunity here. I think even those who aren't so rah-rah on INTC realize this.
