Larry,

OK, so you bought QCOM, hope you did it yesterday.
Let me tell you how I look at this.

You sell 3/4 of your holdings in GNET. This is November, you have a capital gain for tax purposes.

I don't know how old you are (yes I do, your profile says 36) but I have money in the market for my retirement, so I have several years to go (hopefully many). I can take this money out of GNET now with a 1500% gain (in my case) put it somewhere else, play the market and in 5 years, if I am lucky, I could have another 400%. Now that is darn good.

or (Stolen from Graystone)

I could leave it right where it is. Not pay capital gains for tax year ending 12/31/1999. Let GNET go to work, get teamed with Charter, get the broadband thingie going. In 5 years. BOOM I will have another 1500% +.

I know what my choice is.

At least you kept 1/4, so that we don't have to get the eraser out an wipe you off the list.

~Sarkie #25 and holding!
