Well lets discuss it then, JLA. On the one hand you say something as basic as who developed the GUI (Xerox parc vs. Apple) is NOT common knowledge. But then, here you say there are a "number of reasons" Apple was successful. Independent of this exploitation? So, you agree Apple copied Xerox then... Apple was successful for other reasons - WHAT? And wasn't your original disagreement with me regarding Kemp's statements about Xerox and the GUI? You appear to agree with Thorow now - are you crazy then?? heh don't answer that. PS I'll probably bow out of this early, "debating" with JLA is a non-mental exercise, however, he doesn't want to shut up about this issue again.
