I, too, spent a good deal of time being "immersed" in philosophers of one kind or another, not just in college, but also in graduate school and afterwards. I will confess that I much preferred to read philosophers who wrote good clear prose, which meant I read a lot more Nietzsche and Schopenhauer than I did Kant...<g> And given this predilection, I would not call Whitehead a lightweight. He can be pretty heavy going...

Just which of his ideas do you find "lightweight"?
