Crude, I was questioning the meaning and purpose of your post #3965. "eom" is e-forum shorthand for "end of message." When it appears in the message list, it tells the reader he/she may go on to the next message as nothing was posted beyond the subject line.

There are many of these contractions. I only know a few. One of the more interesting ones is ROTFLOL - rolling on the floor laughing out loud. As an example, you say you are on a island 370k NNW of Wales, but in another message you talk about palm trees. ROTFLOL.

BTW (by the way), I thought you only posted at 1:30 am somewhere 5 hours east of EST (Eastern Standard Time).
