Nov 12 1999 22:37 IST

NEW DELHI, Nov 12 (AFP) - A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane overflying India on Friday made an emergency landing at New Delhi's international airport because of a technical snag, airport sources said.

All the passengers and crew were unhurt, they said.

The pilot of PIA 807, en route to the Pakistan city of Karachi after taking off from the Nepali capital Kathmandu, made a request for an emergency landing, Air Traffic Control sources said.

All emergency services were put on high alert at the Indira Gandhi International Airport here.

The aircraft's pilot reported hydraulic failure on landing, sources said.
