richard:
Intel has design one mobo with 840 chipset:
OR840 with RDRAM
Intel has design three mobos with 820 chipset:
CC820 SDRAM
VC820 RDRAM
FB820 RAM support unknown
but if it is Fairbanks board described Kenneths hardware in March it looks like 820 version of CA810 to go with entry level desktop CuMine processors. I am guessing SDRAM on board because of "value orientation" of integrated video and sound on mobo.

One or more of these boards have ben described since AUG and none is expected to ship until for two to six more weeks depending who you talk to.
The only other two known entitiies with RDRAM are: IBM's Intelistation M and Compaq's workstation offerings also will begin to ship in mid DEC.

What is taking all this time.
