with Marcus Cable (another Allen purchase). Its proposed purchase of Los Angeles-based Falcon Cable will make
Charter the #4 cable company (Time Warner is #1). Charter, founded in 1993, is not just a cable king. In St. Louis
and Los Angeles it has partnered with WorldGate (cable-based Internet access via TV) and Wink (interactive TV
