nolimitz, since I am a GTW shareholder I happen to know that GTW had long term future contracts and its main supplier in Taiwan was unaffected by the quake. The other issue in GTW's favor is that it has a larger consumer presence than Dell and is able to pass the cost (if any) along faster. I know that a GTW machine, with the identical configuration, was $150 more than the Dell I just bought on 10/28/99. :o) Drew
