That is bad news. Hopefully it will still go through. I think WCOM fully expects it will have to sell certain parts of Sprint but it needs the wireless piece.

If they don't let WCOM have Sprint then as Bernie says, there is no counterbalance to T and the Baby Bells, they still retain control as kissing cousins. The bad thing is that one of the big European Teleco's will come in and snatch Sprint.
