FWIW, only problem with the ALA theory, at least over the immediate term is that ALA very recently stated they were done buying for now (at least 3 recent aquisitions). The comments are posted somewhere in the last couple weeks on the ALA thread.

Suspect more likely an new affiliation of types is in the works. ALA does have a huge wallet though.
