Well La Mesa is open and running--it's too far for me to have been there yet--any reports would be appreciated. Anyway I did stop by the Valencia spot today and hung out briefly with some constructioin workers--they plan to be done with the outside work/building before Christmas, and were wondering who had the contract to finish off the inside work. Once completed this structure will rock. My hope for 1999/2000 was an acceleration of new restaurants, and that is happening. Hope to hear of more soon. Other hope was for a higher stock price, but with all the right moves being made, I am happy to wait. Once the expoansion leds to better and better numbers, there will be more to sing about--here an on Wall Street. Her the hammers now, cash registers later.
