You two are doing a good thing.

I hope you are both bored on New Years Day and the only thing you accomplish is to spend quality time with each other.

Up here in my neck of the woods I hear nothing about preparations. I guess they all believe there will be no problems.

I asked a friend yesterday what she was doing about Y-2K. She mentioned buying a 38 snub nose and going to her parents house.

I asked about heat.

She said her parents had some portable electric heaters for back up.

Duh?

When she realized what she said she quickly stated she would look at buying a kerosene heater.

I am telling you, people are not prepared.
