OT: (2nd Clint Eastwood ref in 24 hrs...I'm losing it) HMO "solution" was "High Plains Drifter" soltn. Cure worse than the illness. HMO abuse pt care wi impunity, now willing to give MD 'culpability' back while retraining right to fire MD if cost increase. $$$$ saved was only transferred from medical establishment to retirement fund of HMO exec. (after cleaning out some shareholders). Have to admit however, I have no idea for solution of third party payment dilema, but it sure isn't to let unaccountable third party refuse treatment at whim.
