Thanks, John. A very stimulating read early on a Saturday AM. One para caught my attention, in particular:

<< 5. 1.3 million "farm owners, operators". This is distinct from farm workers.
This suggests there are over a million separate farms in the US. A lot of
American farms are out of reach of cellular. Those farms would be
likely prospects for multiple phones, imo.>>

Yesterday I was visiting with a mid-size farm and ranch owner; casual conversation but rolled into cellular phone service and gaps in coverage. I explained G*. He said that G* sounded ideal for farmers, since so many of them are in spotty coverage/poor coverage areas. He talked about how having phone availability while in the fields was not just a convenience issue (call the house, call and have the tire company bring a tractor tire to the north field) but a safety issue in case emergency assistance was needed.

Although he did not mention this and we didn't go into pricing, it's no news to anyone that many farmers are having financial challenges so cost is obviously a crucial factor. Maybe G* would offer a "Support the American Farmer" program to get a G* phone into the hands of every farmer in America (North, South, Central; worldwide; whatever) and help make their lives and business operations safer, more efficient and more enjoyable.

Anyone else have a firmer idea of what the coverage issues/demand could be here?
