The battle to justify is on. Notice how the article is focused on consumer long distance phone. Ebbers and Co. are NOT. Its business, data, internet, wireless, and bandwidth that WCOM is focused on.

Consumer long distance just happens to come with the Sprint package. Growth there is flat to decreasing.
