Making the scene all the more bizarre, each footlong tongue bore a padlock through a hole at the tip. Authorities haven't ruled out the possibility that the doings in the Bronx park were part of some kind of ritual sacrifice, the NY DAILY NEWS reported, but they believe it may have been intended as a message to someone.
