TM is trying to lay the last several years of mess on Lutz' doorstep and that's a joke. The performance of the company was pretty bad before, during and probably after Lutz. TM's problem is that though 78% of the company is owned by others he continues to believe and act as though it is "his" company. This is a replay of CS/Benson. The telecom equipment market is rapidly consolidating, while many new startups are developing the next generations of equipment. IMO any offer above $35 is worthy of consideration and any offer above $40 should be taken... As stated previously, my guess is that he will rebuff all the near term offers, with 22% control the board will not be able to remove him, he won't go voluntarily either.
