You seem to want to put words in my mouth. I never claimed to be an expert on Christian rock, but do occasionally listen to it. Carmen is an example of it. Really tunred me off. I see some artists that seem to be attached to a political movement before a Godly movement. Am interested in going to concerts of artists that perform without a evangelical circus act :-)

Never claimed to be an expert on "Gap Theory" theology, however, I know enough to conclude that it is a crackpot theory. There should be some physical evidence for it, but there isn't. That's what I concluded when I looked into it. So it sure seems to fit into the general pattern of Creationist science.

I view your questions as way too specific on a particular version of a Gap theory. Perhaps this illustrates a lack of knowledge on your part. Don't know. Creation Gap theories generally speculate that there is a gap in the Creation account in Genesis. One flavor uses a gap (after Adam) to cover up a genealogical hole. The more common flavor uses a gap (before Adam) to cover up a time hole that occurs in a literal reading of Genesis 1 & 2 in the context of an old earth. Lots of things can happen in such a gap. Satan can fall to earth and totally corrupt things. Evolution may occur to fill the fossil record with maybe even a pre-Adamite human or human-like race evolving. At the end of the gap, there is usually a major disaster that destroys all life on the planet. When the Genesis account resumes, God reconstructs things in just 6 days (Genesis 1:2-2:3).
Answers to your specific questions
(1) Jermeiah 4:23-26. Thought Isaiah 24 was a better reference for the Gap.
(2) A Gap theory can have multiple floods. From the context of your questions, I can guess that the flood of Noah was smaller, localized to the Mesopotamian valley. Your Satanic flood was probably part of the disaster at the end of the Gap.
Most christians that I know don't subscribe to a multiple flood theory. Don't know of any quotations that support the satanic flood, all the boblical flood references I know about seem to support the flood of Noah.
