---------
To our customers and stockholders ?

Given our recent achievements, I thought it would be appropriate to update you on Centura. John Bowman, my COO, and I have just completed our second year at Centura. We have come a long way, but have only just begun the journey.

Two years ago when joining Centura, we outlined a vision. We saw a convergence; a convergence of computing power and networking power. This convergence, we determined, would lead to secure e-Business computing on Information Appliances. We set out to become a leader in this new market. At Centura, we call this the fifth wave of computing. We have spent the last two years building the partnerships, products, technologies, management, strategies and solutions necessary to deliver. Now we will execute on our vision.

Four items help us establish our market leadership:

1. Our acquisition of Raima. We now have a wonderful product called RDM. A small database for Information Appliances. RDM is a complete solution, well positioned to run on a number of Information Appliance (VxWorks & Linux) and Handheld PC (Palm & Win/CE) platforms. Examples of RDM in action are in the Hughes set-top box for AOL and our pioneering work with mySAP.com.

2. The launch of our revolutionary new solution for extending the enterprise to information appliances: eSNAPP. It works with SQLBase, Velocis, and any other ODBC compliant database to extend dynamic enterprise information into the palm of your hand. It gives the mobile worker the ability to connect directly to their business in real time, and securely access enterprise information. The way we see it eSNAPP could be as important to information appliances as routers are to the Internet. Moreover, with eSNAPP one does not need to re-write their existing applications. All that is needed is a clear understanding of the information a business wants to make available to a device and eSNAPP will make it happen. Safe, Powerful and Easy.

3. SafeGarde. Our unique patent pending secure database solution that is unlike any other solution in the market. We start with the fastest ?embedded? database on the market. Then we fully encrypt the data engine without loss of performance or speed. We make it easy, you do not need to be a security expert, simply turn on the security switch and your off and running. ADP and Deutsche Bank are both users of this database. For a direct example, go online with www.camdata.com and hit the i.STAR demo. Our consulting organization built the Internet elements of i.STAR. If you are interested in e-Business enabling your old client/server application, then check out our consulting group at solutions.centurasoft.com.

4. CTD2.0 (Centura Team Developer) beta version is now available. This now gives a developer the ability to write advanced Internet applications ? to e-Business enable your current applications. We have also recently introduced the Centura Complimentary Solutions Provider Program (CSPP) where we will be packaging together, on a trial basis, some of the best add-on features for CTD. Culled from leading CTD developers from around the world these add-on packages will further enhance CTD, making it the best enterprise application development environment for the professional developer.

By now, we have done most of the heavy lifting and we are poised to take advantage of the fifth wave of computing. However, this is about solutions, not about technology and this ?solution thinking? will always be uppermost in our minds as we invent and apply new approaches to solving people?s business problems.

All Success!
