I may have missed a post that explained the Ben and Math situation? THe regression is very normal under stress and you're a good mom to indulge it. Ammo does it by watching old movies- I noticed this weekend as the play ended and grades came out (although somehow the grades haven't made it home yet--hmmm!) and swim season picks up, that he was watching not the usual bloody stuff but Beauty and the Beast. He needs a lot of down time in his room where he reads or writes or draws away from everyone. SOunds like Ben is doing the same kind of comfort activity. I used to play with paper dolls-even up to high school.
