Maybe you're right. I think asking for an outside tutor would be embarrassing, to me, if not to Benjamin, but maybe it's just foolish pride. His father really isn't very patient with him. Similarly with Nick, he is very impatient helping Nick with his math. I wish I could help them, but I admit to being awful at math. In fact, I have been obsessing quite a bit lately over my inability to do math, because I am not happy as a lawyer, and wish I had been able to go to medical school. So I am probably bringing a lot of my own baggage into this.
