Captain: do those guys have a gun when they give you a bill? More than that they have my computer at their mercy. They're a bit like those gas station attendants I used to meet driving from the US to Canada. While courtesly wiping your windscreen they would test your knowledge of mechanics by progressively diagnosing all kinds of problems with you car, starting with the pattern of wear on your tyres and then (as your ignorance showed) finishing with the hard sell that if you did not let them change your shock absorbers or something you would probably kill yourself your passengers and a doxen other road users before you got home.
