Michael, (OT) Lawyers and the legal system are like the proverbial "chicken and egg". Laws are enacted by lawyers in government and interpreted by judges who are usually lawyers as well. And both sides in every argument are defended by lawyers.

It's a private club whose members have a strong disincentive to change the way things work. A club in which the common man has no hope of membership and over which he has no control. The anger you sense is not personal but rather the result of frustration with a judicial system which serves itself better than it serves the public.

No ... I don't want to scrap our judicial system. But if lawyers don't take action as a group to make the process more "user friendly", it will eventually become impossible to find any justice in the courts.
