True enough. Lev also said he had GenII product coming off the machines now.
I imagine VLNC will restrict licensing to the previous generation, leaving the cream of the market for themselves (until someone finds another way to skin the cat.) Once the batteries demonstrate commercial acceptance, VLNC will almost have to license their enabling technology for manganese.
Easy licensing of a demonstrated technology to the biggest players brings early revenues, and puts them on your (patented) ground. Too much resistance forces them down a different electro-chemical or materials path VLNC cannot control; or to infringement, which delays delays payment during rapid growth. JMO
