A SEEMINGLY INFORMED POST FROM YAHOO
(FROM techtechtechtech)

You have it figured out. There is no doubt in my mind that big money is manipulating this stock and fools who rushed in last week will get killed soon. I talked to one guy who works for Newbridge and he told me there is no way that the company will be sold. I asked him why, his answer -- there's a lot of reasons not the least of which is that there is no buyer, but he told me that too many employees have large amounts of their salary in stock options and those options are under water by a large margin. The takeover would have to be above $35 US just for these employees to break even. No one is going to buy Newbridge above $35 so it's not on. The other reasons have to do with Matthews' stubborness, the company's many internal problems, the fact that potential suitors are more apt to buy an American based company etc. There are so many reasons that were discussed that we both ended up laughing about it.

Best wishes,
Jim
