Yesterday, during the DOWNDRAFT in Intel's stock after the Joe Osha downgrade, a fund manager by the name if Ogden (I believe) was on CNBC answering phone-in questions from viewers and some caller asked about AMD. Ogden's response was much like yours - he said (and I'm trying to remember his exact words) "AMD has proven that they can't make money but the one thing they can do is make life utterly miserable for Intel" !!!
